RIDE TO

SUCCESS

While not all guest families need a vehicle, many have lost their vehicle due to the inability to pay for repairs, or being repossessed because they could no longer afford to pay their car loan. Without readily available public transit, most people in our area require a vehicle to get to/from work. The Ride to Success program helps guest families get back to work quickly and reduces their time in the program. Please consider giving to this need, or checking with a friend/family member if they have a vehicle they no longer want/need.

  • Contact the Executive Director at 832-932-3963 with your desire to donate a vehicle
  • Bring your clear title with the vehicle to our Day Center.
  • Complete the donation form, including the value of vehicle, supplied by Family Promise.
  • These help families get to/from job interviews.
  • They help Family Promise to pick up and deliver bedding to host churches.
  • Families are able to drive themselves to/from host churches each evening.

Many companies encourage employee philanthropy by offering a matching donation. This means, your donation could be doubled! Check with your company to see if they offer an employer match, and if they do, simply provide us with their matching gift form when you submit your donation.
